Big girl Greta enjoys swinging on the big swing! Greta is all done with her pacifier! She lost it this week and to our excitement, she is going to bed awesome without it!
Daddy reading to all three kids before bed.
Hanging out on the slack line with Daddy.
Here are some more pictures from the Moms group retreat last weekend. I will be leading a table group with Michelle, the one standing next to me. Shelly and Brooke will also be leading a table group together in the fall.
The boys had a blast at the Coon Rapids Methodist Church Vacation Bible School this week! Eli and Asa got to be in the same group, which was a comfort for me. It was from 9-12 every morning and at first it felt like a long time for the boys. They both made me pictures and Lego towers before they would go in the morning and tell me that is what they can remember them by when they are gone for the morning. By the end of the week they were begging to go back again next summer. They had fun learning about how God has built them for a purpose. They did a sweet performance of songs and actions on Friday for us to see. Eli and Asa enjoyed telling us each day of all of the games, activities, and snacks they got to eat.
The other night I was putting the boys to bed and Asa was really tired. He kept yelling out, "Mom only care for me, not Eli!" I calmed him down and then Eli came in and said calmly, "Mom I heard Asa say that he does not want you to care for me and that made me feel jealous." I tried not to laugh, I thought it was sweet of Eli and a great way to express his emotions.
We were on our way to go swim at Lake George in the afternoon and Asa slept hard on the way. This is what a busy week at VBS looks like!
Relaxing on the hammock with my sweet Greta.
The kids playing in our backyard this morning.
Eli and Asa found a baby toad and they promptly made a home for him in their bug kit.
