We had a great Independence Day celebration! Our good friends Erik and Angela invited us over to their house for a barbecue and then we all headed out to watch the Blaine fireworks display. Our friends live in Ham Lake and have a lot of land and we are excited to move out to Ham Lake someday. The kids had fun playing with their kids outside. Angela is quite the party planner and she had activities and games planned. The kids loved painting rocks with patriotic colors and then they played Bingo and won some prizes. We then set off some fireworks in their cul-de-sac and there were some pretty big ones! When the sun started to set we left to watch the fireworks in Blaine. This was the first display that we took the kids to and they did awesome! We had a fun time full of good memories. At one point in the day Asa said, "this is the best day ever!"
Angela and I with our babies, they are close to the same age! I remember we went to their house to celebrate the 4th of July two years ago and we were both pregnant at the time.
We are thankful for good friendships.
