From Monday to Tuesday Brian and I were able to relax for a little getaway at a Bed and Breakfast. A huge thanks to Kristi for watching the kids!
The kids wanted to make a paper chain as a countdown to our Florida trip! We leave on February 27th and it is currently 22 days away!
Greta wanted me to take a picture of her little house she made with the couch pillows.
The boys dancing and singing into the brooms as microphones.
They have fun together!
Papa reading "Where's Waldo" with the kids. He looks a bit smooshed as they all snuggle together.
Last Saturday we did something that I never thought we would do and it was fun! Our friends Laura and Erik invited us to go ice fishing with them in their ice house. They have two boys and a girl just like us. The kids had fun catching about 30 fish! It was an enjoyable time.
On Sunday we had a great time hanging out and watching the Super Bowl at the Long's house with our group of close friends. Greta and Sienna played together for over 5 hours straight. Greta did not want to leave and she sobbed the whole way home because she was having so much fun!
Asa is our Star of the Week! Nana found a whole bunch of these posters at a garage sale a couple of years ago and I am so glad we can incorporate them into our homeschool. Asa got to fill out the poster and share it with our family. We went around and each shared what we love about Asa. Next week will be Greta's turn and then Eli's turn the week after.
This morning we went out to Key's Cafe for breakfast as a family to celebrate Asa as the Star of the Week. He loves Key's Cafe so much! I love him so much. He is our energentic and kind boy!
