This past week we got the opportunity to go to the Connect Marriage Retreat again for couples who work in business together. It was a breath of fresh air for our marriage, inspiring for our business, and encouraging for our family. We enjoyed all of the different sessions and the small group time. We were able to hang out with amazing people! The weather was sunny and lovely the whole time. We enjoyed going on a bike ride and walking around the lake in our free time. I am thankful that we were able to get away and focus on our marriage. A big thanks to my parents and Karen who helped watch our kids while we were away.
We flew into Atlanta and then drove an hour and a half to Rome Georgia. The first day and night we stayed at the Red Barn Air B & B with our friends Andrew and Janelle Vick. They are fun travel companions and we enjoyed many laughs together. The Red Barn was in the middle of nowhere and it was peaceful.
We always love the dinner under the sky night where we dress up and eat outside over looking the lake.
Great times with Andrew and Janelle!
Our small group leaders Phillip and Eileen.
The difference between our luggage and the Vicks luggage.
I love the T-shirts they give to the group!
Allen and Carol are such a sweet couple.
We finally got to meet Zach and Jody! They are the creators of the software program we use in our business called ShootFlow.
We loved our small group!
It was fun to hang out with one of the speakers Julia and her husband Jeff. We went through a marriage mentorship program with them last summer.
The kids were so happy to have us home! They were all smiles! Here they are tackling Daddy!
