Beginning of May

We have been enjoying the beautiful sunny spring weather! We are loving our yard and all of the wildlife we see in our woods and ponds. We have seen owls, ducks, hawks, muskrats, beavers, deer, turtles, sandhill cranes, frogs, and turkeys. We enjoy watching all of the wildlife from our back deck.

I was able to put Greta's hair in pigtails for the first time! She is a cutie.

We got a fun horse swing for the kids!

Greta was nervous but she tried it!

They were all smiles it feels like spring!

Last week we had Luke and Cora over to play outside. They enjoyed collecting rocks, driving the blue truck, searching for frogs, and more.

My neighbor friend Angela took these pictures of Asa and her daughter Lucia playing outside together. They said they were playing beach. Asa told me that he told Lucia that he is going to marry Greta. She said that you cannot marry your sister, so they decided that they would marry each other. So cute.

More pigtails on Greta, she looks a bit like Pippy Longstocking.

Eli had Grandfriends day at school yesterday. He loved having Papa and Nana come and visit his school! Eli and his classmates sang many songs during the program and then they had many activities for the kids to choose to do with their grandparents.

Eli showing us his red frog that he found.

A spectacular sunset in our back yard!

Last Friday we had a fun dinner and play date over at Sam's house after the boys finished school. Eli, Luke, and Sam are good buddies and play at recess together every day at school. Asa enjoyed playing with the older boys. Greta liked playing with their younger sisters Cora and Gwen. She also loved holding their cat!
