This past Sunday I was reflecting and remembering what we normally do as a family in the beginning of June. We usually go to Fawn-Doe-Rosa petting zoo in St. Croix Falls, WI which is just past the Minnesota and Wisconsin border. I called and I was pleasantly surprised that they were open. Most places are still closed here in Minnesota and we were so excited to find something fun to do as a family. The petting zoo is all outside, so that must be why they were able to open so soon. The kids loved petting and feeding all of the baby animals. It felt like animal therapy for all of us.
Afterward, we ate outside at a sweet little Swedish cafe in Lindstrom Minnesota. It felt good to eat at a restaurant again!
We have been enjoying our boat and I jumped in and went swimming the other day! It feels like summer now.

Asa found a crayfish in our pond! Watch out it pinches!
Greta found a cute baby tree frog.
Eli found a lizard in our garden!
Swing time!
