Greta Dances in her Christmas Ballet

Greta danced beautifully in her Christmas ballet recital. It was a joy to watch her perform! She smiled the entire time. Greta has loved being in ballet with her best friend Sienna. The are both the youngest in their families and they both have older brothers, so they can easily relate to each other! My friend Anna and I have enjoyed watching our girls dance together.

We gave Greta some lovely roses after her ballet recital!

Christmas Happenings

We had such a lovely time watching Greta perform her ballet recital at the Wyoming, MN Christmas tree lighting. We were so happy that Papa could come too. Her actual recital where she will be dancing in her costume will be tomorrow afternoon!

The boys had a fun playdate with friend Micah.

Eli is such a good big brother. He offered to read Greta a bunch of stories.

Greta's lovely artwork.

Greta was excited about the felt rainbow that she sewed and glued together.

I love making gingerbread Christmas cookies with my kiddos. It feels good to continue on in a tradition from Nana. They were all awesome helpers!

I love how my Christmas decoration from Mom and Brian's Mom are both on the wall in our living room.

On Thursday this past week I had a sweet time at a Christmas cookie exchange party with my friends from co-op. The kids were excited for all of the different Christmas cookies that I brought home!

We have been loving our out door hot tub! It is perfect with the colder weather.

The other day Uncle Ben came over to watch the game. Asa enjoyed some cuddles.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

We love Christmas time! We enjoyed decorating for Christmas in our new space. We started our advent readings this week. We always look forward to lighting the candle and listening to our read alouds about Jesus. It helps us to slow down and remember what the Christmas season is all about.

Brian and the boys borrowed this animal trap from my Dad to get a change to see some animals up close. It does not hurt the animals, and they release them right away. They have caught a raccoon, a possum, and squirrels. We are not going to catch anymore because it is getting too cold. They enjoyed the experience!

Greta is so creative and she loves to decorate her bedroom for Christmas! She has made presents and stocking for her dolls and stuffed animals.

The Raptor Center came to our co-op this past Thursday and did a presentation for us. We learned about eagles, hawks, owls, and kestrels. Our kids enjoyed it and they answered most of the questions!

We had a fun visit with Heather and her kids. We even enjoyed the first snowfall together!

Karen, Greta, and I helped decorate my Dad's Christmas tree.

Brian took some pictures of the boys.

There is nothing better then sitting by the Christmas tree in the evening and sipping tea.
