We love Christmas time! We enjoyed decorating for Christmas in our new space. We started our advent readings this week. We always look forward to lighting the candle and listening to our read alouds about Jesus. It helps us to slow down and remember what the Christmas season is all about.
Brian and the boys borrowed this animal trap from my Dad to get a change to see some animals up close. It does not hurt the animals, and they release them right away. They have caught a raccoon, a possum, and squirrels. We are not going to catch anymore because it is getting too cold. They enjoyed the experience!
Greta is so creative and she loves to decorate her bedroom for Christmas! She has made presents and stocking for her dolls and stuffed animals.
The Raptor Center came to our co-op this past Thursday and did a presentation for us. We learned about eagles, hawks, owls, and kestrels. Our kids enjoyed it and they answered most of the questions!
We had a fun visit with Heather and her kids. We even enjoyed the first snowfall together!
Karen, Greta, and I helped decorate my Dad's Christmas tree.
Greta working hard in her dance class.
Brian took some pictures of the boys.
There is nothing better then sitting by the Christmas tree in the evening and sipping tea.
