Walk Like an Egyptian

Grandpa and Grandma Meyer went on their Mediterranean Cruise and brought back this cute outfit and little camel for Eli from Egypt. We had to get some pictures!

Oh What Fun it is to Sled!

This past week the temperature has actually gotten in the upper 30s so we were able to take Eli out in his sled that he got from Grandpa and Grandma Meyer for Christmas. He loved it! Daddy and Mommy took turns pulling him around in our yard, it was quite a workout! It was fun to hear Eli laugh when we pulled him down some of the small hills.

Eli enjoys playing with the zoo animals set that he got from Grandpa and Grandma Bossany for Christmas. Brian was bragging that we have a genius baby today. He showed me how he asked Eli to bring him the giraffe, the polar bear, the tiger, the gorilla, the penguin, and the elephant. Eli was able to bring each one! He knows his animals, what a smart little boy.

What Eli is Doing Now

At 14 months old Eli is practically running all over the place now. He loves pointing at everything and makes this little clicky sound as if to ask, "What is that?"Eli is very affectionate and loves to snuggle with us and gives us many kisses. He says Mamma, Dadda, Ba for ball, and Da for dog. He signs for more, milk, food, and cheese. Cheese is his favorite food!

Playing in Daddy's guitar case

Playing in the ball pit he got for his birthday

Eating spaghetti and meatballs, Eli loved it!

Playing with his bath toys that he got from Auntie Karen and Auntie Kristi for Christmas

Eli adores books. He now will go pick out a book and bring it to us to read to him. He sits really well to listen to stories.

Eli is getting so good at building with blocks, he will do it for up to a half an hour at a time.

Wearing his warm fleece outfit from Auntie Kristi.

Playing over at our friends Corey and Cheri's house. We love the carpet and would like to get one for him someday.

What a handsome little boy!

We got Eli this little table and chairs set yesterday at Ikea. He really likes eating his snacks at his table like a big boy.

Eli is signing "more" for more Riz Crackers.

We also got him the rug at Ikea for him to ride his little cars.

He sure is a happy little guy! Auntie Karen gave him the outfit in the picture, it says "Cool like my Auntie."

Merry Christmas!

We had a very Merry Christmas with family. We started celebrating on Saturday with the Bossany clan. They came over to our house where we opened presents and ate a yummy dinner. Eli loved his Zoo Talkers toy from Grandpa and Grandma Bossany and Uncle Jason.

On Sunday we went to church for our Christmas service; we sang many beautiful Christmas carols. Then the Meyer clan came over to our house for pizza and a time to hang out together. On Christmas Eve we went to my parents house to have Christmas Eve dinner and play some games.

On Christmas morning Brian, Eli, and I celebrated together. We had fun watching Eli open his Christmas stocking and his Christmas presents. He liked the toy cars in his stocking, his Little Peoples Carnival set, Little Peoples Airport set, and his Knights and Castle. Then we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Meyer's house to celebrate with the family. Eli loved the electronic train set, sled, Little People's, red wagon, and music player from Grandpa and Grandma Meyer and Nana. He also loved the play fort that Grandma Meyer made for him. Eli liked the bath toys from Auntie Kristi and Auntie Karen. We had so much fun getting the whole family together!

All dressed up for Christmas Eve!

All tuckered out from all of the excitement and snuggling with his monkey.

Christmas morning at our house looking through his stocking.
