South Dakota and Wyoming Family Vacation

We had the most amazing trip out to South Dakota and Wyoming! We spent time in the Black Hills and camped at Custer State Park. We went on many hikes, we went to Badlands National Park, Mount Rushmore, Jewel Cave, and Wind Cave National Park. We then went on to Wyoming to explore Grand Teton National Park and the Big Horn Mountains. We rented a pop up camper and enjoyed our camping experience. Hiking at Jenny Lake and in the Tetons was our favorite. We saw a bunch of wildlife and loved swimming in the refreshing mountain lakes. It was fun that my Dad was able to join us for some of the trip. We finished our time in the Tetons going horseback riding on a trail through the mountains! We loved experiencing God's beautiful creation!

It has been 3 years since my Mom went on to heaven. I am trying to be the kind Mom that she was to me to my own kids. I am so thankful that we were able to at Grand Teton National Park, one of her most favorite places on earth. It was great to share with the kids how much she enjoyed being in the Tetons. It was extra special that my Dad was able to join us for some of our time there.

We recreated one of my Dad's favorite pictures of my sisters and I that was taken at the Hidden Falls at Jenny Lake with my three kids. So special!

Our morning view! We camped right on Jackson Lake. It was wonderful for swimming!

Greta showed us her sweet art journal where she drew pictures from our trip! She is an amazing artist, just like her Nana.
