We have been loving our outdoor hot tub! It has been a wonderful way to beat the cold this winter.
Greta and Asa made seahorses in their art class at co-op.
Eli did an awesome job on his water color painting of South America in his art class at co-op.
For the Little Lit class that I am teaching at co-op, in the story that we are reading, Jem Strikes Gold, the story mentions the phases of the moon. I thought it would be fun for the kids to learn about the phases of the moon with Oreo cookies. I practiced with Greta and Asa at home and then I lead the activity with both of my classes at co-op today. The kids made the phases with a plastic knife. The kids really enjoyed the activity! It is always fun to do an activity that you get to eat afterwards.
Karen and I made a birthday dinner the other night to celebrate Kristi's birthday! I always have the best laughs with my sisters! We are getting very excited for Kristi to have her baby soon. We are having her baby shower at my house on April 2nd!
