Last Friday the kids did a wonderful job singing Christmas carols with our homeschool co-op at a nursing home.
Mom gave me this beautiful Christmas Swedish decoration years ago. She always thought that I looked just like the girl in the picture. I remember that she made me the same dress and matching hat when I was a girl. It is extra special to hang this up in my living room this Christmas.
Here is the picture of me in the dress mom made for me and hat. Love it!
When I was at the Swedish Museum, I found the same picture on this ornament and I had to get it for our tree.
Brian got two free tickets to the Vikings game and brought Dad! The had a great time and the Vikings won!
We cheered for the Vikings at home!
Nana taught us home to make the most delicous gingerbread cookies. We made cookies in honor of Nana.
I brought an ornament to put on the tree to always remember mom. I love this picture of us on my wedding day!
Asa working hard on his readying with Daddy.
Greta and her friend Julia got to wear their pjs to dance class!
We had such a fun time going to the Children's Theatre for the first time as a family. We saw Cinderella, it was like the original, though they added in comedy and Christmas carols. They included audience participation and Brian was put on the spot multiple times throughout the show, which was the best part. He handled it well!
We went to see the Cinderella play with our co-op friends. Greta had to wear her Cinderella dress!
It was such a fun time!
Greta curled up on Dad for an afternoon nap.
