We had a fun-filled time celebrating the birth of our Savior. On Christmas Eve Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle Jason came over to our house for a Christmas brunch. The kids got excited to open all of the presents. After they headed home, we went to the Christmas Eve service at Substance church. The Christmas services are always extra enjoyable with lots of singing and skits along with a message from Pastor Peter. We put Greta in the nursery and kept the boys in the service with us. They did great and enjoyed the service. It was sweet to hear them sing and laugh. That evening after we put the kids to bed, we had my side of the family over to play some fun games.
On Christmas day, the kids ran downstairs and were thrilled to open their stockings and Christmas presents. It was fun to see the excitement on their faces. The boys helped Greta open her presents too. After nap time we drove over to Papa and Nana's house for Christmas dinner. We had a special time opening presents as a family. Kristi had to work that day, so she is coming over this afternoon so we can do our gift exchange with her too. Merry Christmas!
