The Pool is Back in Session!

Now that the weather has been hitting the 80s and 90s we have enjoyed going back to the Anoka Aquatic Center pool. This has been our 4th summer getting a season pass for our family. It is a great way to beat the heat! The boys loved going down the slides and jumping off the sides of the pool. Eli will be taking swimming lessons there this August. Greta enjoys sitting in the zero depth area and splashing lightly in the water. It is especially fun to go because my two best friends, Tracy and Cole get summer passes too. It is fun for us to chat while our kids play together.

We have been undergoing several house projects. Painting the living room, dining room, and hallway up the stairs. Eli even helped Daddy paint the first coat! We will be getting new carpet installed in 2 weeks. I am so excited for a fresh new look!

The other day I took Asa out for a special mom and son date to Caribou. My heart melted when he excitedly said, "Mom it is just the two of us!" We had a great time together.

Yesterday was a special evening. My roommate Jen from college was in town, since she lives in West Virginia, it has been a long time since we have seen each other. We got together some of our other dear friends who all lived on the same floor with us at Carlson Hall at North Central University. It was great to reconnect with Stacey, Sharilyn, Jen, and Jenny again! We got our families together to play at Elm Creek Park. It was so fun!
