Beginning of February

Asa loves to help Mommy make brownies

I am so thankful for my dear friend Tracy. We have been the best of friends since we were 15! I remember at the end of our senior year of high school we promised each other that we would always stay in touch. I am happy to say we have done more than that. As we have both gotten married and had kids we have grown closer over the years. I am glad we live close and can do life together.

Eli helping me make sugar cookies

The boys loved eating the frosting!

Yesterday Eli found a spider in the bathroom and I was very quick to kill it. Eli was so sad and said he wanted to keep it as a pet. I explained to Eli as he was in tears, that we do not keep spiders in the house. He can have as many spiders for pets as he wants in the summertime, as long as he keeps them in the backyard. He calmed down and seemed to understand. Today he found a ladybug in his room. I said he could keep that one. He played with it for a long time before it got away. He loves insects!

The boys and I had fun with paints

Asa got carried away and put some on his face!

Bath time!

Greta likes her baths

For the Superbowl, Papa, Nana, Karen, Kristi, and David all came over. All of the guys watched the game downstairs, while the girls had girl time upstairs. They helped me give Greta a bath and then we enjoyed chatting in Greta's room together.

All bundled up

Greta was sucking on her hand and Auntie Karen thought it was adorable

I love her morning smiles!

Greta enjoyed riding in the stroller as we took the boys to the Children's Museum yesterday

"I love my pretty bow"

It has been so great having Uncle David around this winter. We will miss him, yet we are excited for his next adventure! Brian and I had a good time taking him out for lunch on Monday.

More train time

Playing with binoculars at Papa and Nana's house

Fun at the Children's Museum! These big noodles are suppose to be blades of grass. The boys loved running through them!

I love this picture that Brian took of Eli and I reading together.
