Asa is 6 Months Old!

Our smiley Asa is 6 months old! He is sitting up very well, rolling across the room like a tumbleweed, sleeping on his belly, eating solid foods, and getting very talkative. Asa is making mama  and baba sounds. It is cute to here him make noise! Brian got a lot on video and he will be putting a 5 to 7 month video of Asa together soon. Asa is our little sunshine, he is laid back and very sweet.

We took Asa in for his 6 month well child doctor visit and he checked out perfectly healthy. He is in the 22nd percentile for height and 14th percentile for weight. His head circumference is in the 83rd percentile. Nana says that Asa is just like his Mommy when she was a baby. I had a big head and a skinny body! Asa will grow into his head, just like Mommy did.

Asa's First Bites of Solid Food

Asa has been enjoying his first bites of solid food. We started off with breast milk mixed with baby oatmeal cereal and he did well. After he did well with that, then we have given him carrots, green beans, squash, and applesauce. So far he likes squash the best and green beans the least. We are going to give him sweet potatoes today, I am guessing he will love those!

Starting to Feel Like Spring is Coming

It is starting to warm up in Minnesota! Yesterday we hit the 40s and today we hit 52! We are happy about the warm up here. Our boys have been keeping us busy and are so much fun!

Eli and I have done a lot of crafts together this winter. 

Asa and I got dressed up to go to Jon and Sharilyn's wedding. They are friends of ours from college and now go to church with us at Substance. Brian photographed the wedding and Auntie Kristi babysat Eli for us. We had a fun time and Asa did great!
