We had a delightful trip to California with my parents from June 26th through July 5th. It was wonderful to see Grandma, Becky, Danny, Sadie, Jack, Lauren, Clare, Paul, Liz, Peter, Lori, Annette, and Kris. Eli did great for his first plane ride and I am so happy that he was able to meet everyone.
We visited family, went sea kayaking, hiking at Point Lobos, visited the Red Woods at Big Basin, went for a bike ride along 17 mile drive, and took Eli to the aquarium. We had a lovely time!
Eli enjoyed the aquarium and was able to see up close in his front carrier.
Meeting Lauren and having fun with Nana again.
We had a beautiful hike at Point Lobos.
Eli got all tuckered out and fell asleep on Daddy.
We love the ocean!
Eli got his first two teeth on our trip and kept making this old man face when they were coming in!
Eating lunch in the stroller and taking a nap with Daddy.
Eli loves his Grandma and is doing very well drinking from a sippy cup.
Becky and Danny had us all over for a delicious dinner at their home in Oakland. Danny sure can cook!
We had fun playing Scrabble with Grandma, she sure is good!
Eli enjoyed playing with Nana's toys. He especially liked getting on the tricycle that all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren have gotten pictures on over the years.
Playing with Daddy.
Grandpa, Daddy, Mommy and Eli went hiking through the Red Woods at Big Basin.
At the beach in Capitola.
Beach baby playing in the sand!
For the 4th of July Uncle Paul and Liz had us all over to their house for a barbecue. After dinner Paul suggested that we all go for a ride on "Big Dude". It was quite the ride! I started to cry because I was laughing so hard! I love time with family!
Becky and I decided to be daring and rode up top!
All ready to go for the ride on "Big Dude"
Eli with Uncle Peter, Aunt Lori, and Cousin Clare. Grandma and Mommy.
We stayed and watched fireworks from the hill that night. We could see many different displays. It got quite cool so we all wrapped up in blankets together.
