Eli's First Easter

Eli's first Easter was a very special one. Great Grandma Chaplin and Cousin Becky visited from California.  Great Grandma got to have all seven of her great grandchildren together for Easter. Becky had her two children, Jack and Sadie, and Alison had her four children, Matthew, Ethan, Thomas, and Ava. We got all of the family together for a barbecue Saturday evening at Bunker Hills Park. It was a cool evening, but we had fun staying warm by the camp fire and the kids loved playing on the slack line with Brian and David. 

For Easter we went to church and then everyone headed over to Alison's house for Easter brunch. The kids had fun with an egg hunt and then the adults enjoyed a beer hunt. Eli loved spending time with Great Grandma Chaplin, Grandpa and Grandma Meyer, Auntie Karen, Auntie Kristi, and his second cousins.

Mommy and Cousin Becky with Eli and Sadie. Great Grandma commented on how much Eli looks like Mommy and Sadie looks like Becky. She said it was like going back 30 years ago and seeing us as babies again.
