Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful time hosting Thanksgiving at our home again this year. The food was delicious and we played many games of Catan as usual. We love our dear family!

Northern Lights Homeschool Co-op

 

We had another wonderful school year with our homeschool co-op Northern Lights. I am thankful for the friendships that the kids and I have made through this co-op. Brian took the school pictures for our co-op for the 5th year in a row. I am serving on our co-op board in the Secretary role.

Greta's Friend Birthday Party

 Brian and I gave Greta a lovely birthday tea party with her sweet friends. Greta had a wonderful time and she felt loved. We celebrated her turning eight years old by having a fancy tea party lunch, Christmas crafts, and games. The girls enjoyed dressing up!

Greta and her friends! Greta is blessed with these dear friends. Going from left to right: Bella, Julia, Anna, Elizabeth, Greta, Brielle, Sienna, and Luica. 

While the girls were eating lunch, I read them the story Annika's Wish. It is a Swedish story about giving at Christmas. 

I had fun making the chocolate cupcakes for the party.

Greta helped me prepare the dough to make the cinnamon ornaments. Each girl went home with two ornaments for their Christmas tree. We played a game of Christmas themed Charades, there were many laughs!

My friend Laura took the boys during the party. She fed them lunch and they got to have some guy time together outside! It worked out great!

Happy 8th Birthday to Greta!

Happy 8th birthday to our beautiful Greta! You light up our lives everyday with your smile and your joy for life! Greta loves to dance, she is amazing at doing the spilts, she is a gifted artist, and she is kind. We love you Greta and we are so thankful that God blessed us with you for our daughter. We had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday with family. Her party theme was princess and golden retrievers. Greta is a joy to celebrate! 

We have had a tradition of decorating gingerbread houses on her actual birthday! They did a fantastic job.

Greta received so many wonderful gifts from family members. Her big surprise was a Barbie Dreamhouse!

Greta and I enjoyed high tea at the Mad Hatter Restaurant and Teahouse for our annual birthday month tradition. I love that we both share the month of November for our birthdays. 

It was delicious! 

Greta got her ears pierced for her 8th birthday! She was so brave!
