Mid November

Greta and I enjoyed a mother and daughter tea a week ago Saturday at The Mad Hatter Tea House. We both have birthdays in November and I wanted to do something special to celebrate together. We had a sweet time and I think we started a new birthday month tradition. I love my sweet girl.

Yesterday Mom, Karen, and Kristi took me out to celebrate my birthday with our annual tea at Cafe Latte in St. Paul. We enjoyed a time of afternoon tea and shopping. I am thankful for our time together!

Brian set up this beautiful picture of our family with the gorgeous fall leaves in our backyard at the beginning of October.

Some artwork by Eli and Asa.

Asa enjoys working on puzzles!

We are so glad that our house addition is complete! We will post pictures of it soon!

Early November

I had a wonderful birthday weekend celebration. On my birthday, Brian and the kids made me a delicious birthday breakfast. Then Papa and Nana came over to watch the kids so Brian and I could stay at a Bed and Breakfast in Osceola, WI. We enjoyed a long hike by Cascade Falls and it was a relaxing time together. We celebrated more with the kids when we came home Sunday afternoon. I am thankful for all of God's blessings in my life.

The beautiful fall flowers that Brian gave to me.

Greta likes to wear dresses that I wore as a little girl.

She is always dancing!

Asa, Greta, and I enjoyed painting this morning!

Breakfast time!

Asa and Greta made a little picnic lunch on our kitchen floor.

These three are the best!

Eli Turns 7!

We had a blast celebrating Eli last weekend! He wanted to have a geology birthday party complete with a geode cake. I am getting pretty good at making the geode cake and Nana helped me too! We celebrated with a family party on Saturday and Eli's first birthday party with friends on Sunday. The weather was beautiful and there was a ton of laughs! The kids enjoyed a piñata, a campfire, laser tag, and running around outside together. For his birthday Eli received geodes, many special rocks, rock digging kits, a gold digging kit, a rock book, Nerf guns, Battleship game, Uno game, Hedbandz game, Vikings football, fishing pole and tackle box, Pucket game, molding clay, art supplies, books on reptiles, and Legos. He was excited!!

Happy birthday to our Eli! Eli is kind, creative, funny, he enjoys being outdoors and he loves all creatures. We love you and we are thankful God blessed us with you for a son.

We love you Eli!

Family fun celebrating Eli!

It was so entertaining watching the kids try to hit the piñata while blindfolded. We will post videos soon!

Luke and Sam and their families came to celebrate on Sunday. Luke and Sam are Eli's best friends.

Searching for the candy in all of the leaves.

On Eli's actual birthday Brian and I visited him at school. We brought him Subway for lunch and enjoyed lunch with him. We also brought in some cupcakes to share with the class. We then went out for dinner at T-Box as a family.

Asa and Greta were thrilled to each get to open a gift from Papa and Nana at Eli's birthday party.

Friends are good for the soul.

Eli was so kind to share one of his digging kits with Asa.
