We got to meet Auntie Kristi's new horse for the first time. Her name is Brandy and she is beautiful. Eli enjoyed helping Papa Meyer feed the horse and he even got to sit on the horse.

Mother's Day
I had a special Mother's Day with family. I woke up to two sweet cards from Brian and Eli. We went to church together and when we picked up Eli from the nursery he gave me a flower for Mother's Day. We then went out for a yummy brunch. Then I read to Eli and he gave me lots of cuddles before going down for a nap. That afternoon, Karen, Kristi, and I treated Mom to our annual Mother's Day pedicures. We had a fun, relaxing time together and enjoyed being pampered. We have fancy toenails for spring! That evening Brian grilled some delicious steaks and veggies for dinner. It was a special day!

Fun Wedding Celebration
Yesterday Brian and I got to celebrate the wedding of our friends Jenny and Patrick. Brian photographed the wedding and I was apart of the wedding. Jenny is my best friend from grad school, we are both school counselors. They were blessed with a beautiful, sunny day! They got married in the Basilica in Minneapolis. Brian got some lovely photos. Papa and Nana Meyer were amazing and watched Eli for us so that we could go.

Eli is 18 Months Old!
Our little Eli is 18 months old and growing more and more each day. He is such a smiley, happy little boy. He loves to play outside and runs around so fast! He enjoys swinging at the parks and sliding down the slides where Daddy and Mommy catch him.
Eli is talking more now. He will say hi and bye. His favorite words are: Dada, Mama, go, ball, thank you, woof woof, and meow, meow. He eats well with a fork and is getting better at drinking from a cup. He loves to give high fives, fist bumps, and blow kisses. He is also learning how to give a thumbs up. He enjoys playing with his building blocks and stuffed animals. He likes to ride on his cars. His favorite game is peek-a-boo and hide and seek. Eli is getting good at throwing and kicking balls. When Eli gets a little owie, he comes to Mommy to kiss it and make it better. It is so sweet!
We took Eli in for his well child visit and he is getting to be a big boy! He is in the 84% for height and the 84% for weight. He is in the 93% for head circumference, he has a big brain! We are so thankful that he is a healthy boy.
