July Happenings

Brian and I celebrated 16 years of marriage in July! We celebrated by going out to lunch at The Watershed restaurant and then we went for a lovely hike at Cascade Falls. We walked along the St. Croix River in Stillwater and finished off our day by having dinner at Dancing Dragonfly Winery. It was a beautiful day. I am so thankful for my guy.

Brian gave me these gorgeous roses.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Auntie Karen's birthday! Love her!

Papa turned 70 in July! We had a delightful time celebrating Papa at our house. Love you Papa!

Buddy keeps getting bigger and bigger! He is a joy!

We had a great time celebrating Father's Day at the end of June. Brian is everything I could have hoped for as a Dad to our kids.

We always remember Mom and Nana. We especially remember her on her birthday and on her anniversary of going on to heaven. We love and miss you Mom and Nana!!

Greta got a big new bike! She loves to bike and keep up with her brothers.

I guess the kids put swim goggles on Buddy.

Greta and her good friend Bella. They love to play together, especially with their puppies!

Asa enjoying early morning snuggles with Buddy.

Greta loves art!

Greta and I enjoyed a Mother/Daughter tea time at the Mad Hatter Restaurant and Teahouse. I love time with my sweet girl!

Papa took these pictures of the kids when they went on a hike together.

4th of July Celebration

We had a wonderful 4th of July! I am so behind on updating the blog, life has been so busy lately. I am so incredibly thankful that we had my Dad's side of the family visit for the 4th of July holiday. It was wonderful to see Uncle Kevin, Aunt Laura, my cousin Holly, her son Jase, Uncle Jeff, and cousins Suzie and Jeffery. We had fun taking them to see the fireworks, visiting the Como Zoo together, and hosting everyone at our house for a 4th of July barbecue. They even came to Eli's baseball game.
I am deeply sad to share that over a week ago, my cousin Suize was killed in a major car accident. This news makes me even more grateful to have spent the time with her this summer. She was so sweet and amazing with my kids. They loved playing with cousin Suzie. I am so glad that she knew Jesus and that she is in heaven. We can have the confidence that we will see her again someday.

Fantastic memories with cousin Suzie! She loved seeing the fireworks with us.
