Man Camp and Girl Time

We had another great weekend of Man Camp and Girl Time! Brian and the boys headed to the Wellman's cabin for some more advents with the guys. They fished, made lures, shot BB guns, had campfires, went kayaking, swimming, had devotions, and enjoyed good friendships. Greta and I enjoyed a sweet time with our friends too. We had a fancy tea party, our daughters put on a dance show for us moms, and they girls enjoyed an outdoor movie night. We had a delightful time with dear friends.

 

Brian hurt his thumb making lures, ouch! Thankfully Asa was fine!

Greta and I went shopping together. She found some cute clothes! When there is a kitty on the clothes, it is always a win for her!

Happy 8th birthday to our Asa! Asa is energetic, kind, adventurous, he loves baseball, and he enjoys telling jokes. He brings us joy! We are so thankful that God blessed us with you for a son. We love you!

We had such a fun time celebrating Asa turning 8 with a birthday party with family. We gave him a baseball themed birthday party! I enjoyed making his baseball cake. He liked hitting his baseball piñata with his bat! Asa was blessed with many gifts for his birthday. He was given: many baseball shirts, baseball pajamas, legos sets, a dinosaur book, cards and checks, baseball guys playset, Mexican Train Dominos, a Twins hat and a Twins baseball, many baseballs, a baseball bag to carry his gear, a baseball pitching machine to practice, a wooden bat for family and friends to sign, a baseball money bank, a baseball pinball game, a rocket launcher, and a baseball activity book. Happy birthday Asa!!

On Asa's actual birthday we got Chipotle for dinner and spent the day at Big Marine Park!
