Our Amazing Family Vacation to Naples Florida

Brian had a wedding scheduled in Naples, Florida for the beginning of March, so we turned it into a fun family vacation! We rented a beautiful private house with a pool and we were able to stay for 17 days! We love homeschooling, we can travel with Brian and bring school with us.

Brian's wedding went great and we enjoyed many beach days as a family. We went to Tigertail beach at Marco Island, Delanor-Wiggins State Park Beach, Lover's Key State Park Beach, Barefoot Beach, and Clam Pass Park Beach. We also were able to meet up with some good friends while we were down there! We met up with my friend Laura Wegener from sport co-op and her family. Later on in the trip we met up with our friends from church, Carl and Jenna Sandmann and their two boys.

We spent a day out on a fishing charter with Captain Charlie again. We caught a bunch of red fish, snook, and sheephead. We enjoyed some for dinner. The kids enjoyed catching lizards at our house and ghost crabs at the beach. We made many beautiful memories, swam in the Gulf of Mexico, and enjoyed the plentiful sunshine!

End of February

A couple weeks ago we celebrated our 100th day of school! We celebrated by making homemade cinnamon rolls. They were scrumptious!

The boys saved up their money and bought a Star Wars Lego X-Wing Fighter. They put it together quickly!

Brian and the kids made an epic snowman!

I enjoyed a long walk with my firstborn the other day. We are so glad that it is warmer out!

The boys are proud of their Star Wars coloring pictures.

The kids artwork from art class at Northern Lights Co-op.

The other day Greta came down stairs looking like this, she wants to be a cowgirl!

The kids were so excited for their second Valentine's Party at Northern Lights Co-op last week!

Brian surprised me with this gorgeous orchid the other day!

I have been working on projects around the house that I have been meaning to get to for a long time. It has felt so good to finally get to them! I hung up wedding pictures in our upstairs hallway and I have been working on a family generation memory scrapbook.

Greta loves to draw and she is very talented!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We have had a special Valentine's week! The kids enjoyed their Vaentine's Party with friends after our sport co-op on Thursday. There was a competition for the most creative Valentine's boxes. Greta won first place in her Preschool class, Asa won Runner Up for his group K-3, and Eli won first place for his group K-3. They had a blast and of course enjoyed eating all of the candy!

We made a special Valentine's breakfast yesterday of cinnamon rolls, scrabbled eggs, and bacon. Dad and mom even had mimosas! We gave the kids their traditional Valentine's Day presents. Papa and Karen came over to hang out with the kids so Brian and I went could go out on a dinner date. We went to T-Box, our favorite local resultant. They had a delicious menu, special for Valentine's Day.

We have been studying the human body for science!

They love each other!

Brian gave me this fun mug for Valentine's Day!

Candlelight dinner with my Valentine.

A few weeks ago we enjoyed sledding with the Vick family! Good times!

Greta loves playing in her pink tent.

The boys loved building Jitter Bug Motors in science class at co-op!
