Mid August Happenings

It has been so hot! Last week we had fun taking the kids to Bunker Beach to cool over for the day.

The kids love to play outside and get dirty everyday. We have them take lots of baths!

Last Friday we bought a boat! It has been so fun taking it out on Coon Lake! We will enjoy making many boating and fishing memories as a family.

On Sunday we had a blast taking my parents out on the boat and a swim was super refreshing!

Our home addition is underway! Here are some progress pictures.

Yesterday morning we woke up to some exciting news! About 14 days ago Eli found two Monarch caterpillars near our pond. We put them in the bug kit and fed them lots of milkweed. They formed their chrysalis and then yesterday morning they came out as two beautiful Monarch butterflies! We watched them fly away. What an amazing learning experience!

Beginning of August

 Eli won free tickets to the Crayola Experience at the Mall of America through the summer reading program at the library. We enjoyed the experience as a family this morning! We love the summer reading program, so great to get free tickets for the whole family. 

Greta the beautiful ballerina! She has been asking to take ballerina lessons for months. I signed her up to take lessons starting in January. She is excited!

This past week I took Greta and Asa to Spring Brook Nature Center while Eli was at his friend Luke's birthday party.

They put on a cute puppet show for me!

A week ago Friday we had a fun cousins Triple date! We ate dinner at Betty Dangers Restaurant and went on the Ferris Wheel and played Mini Golf.  It was a great evening!

We had a fun visit at Grandpa and Grandma Bossany's house on Sunday. The kids loved playing the game Grape Escape! We are glad to see Grandma is doing better and she is starting to walk again.
