Brotherly Love

Last Saturday we visited Papa and Nana. Eli started hugging Asa and I am so glad I got pictures of them. He kept saying "I love Asa". I am so thankful they are best buddies; they play so well together.

Asa loves to sing now. He likes to sing "Edelweiss"with me before he goes to sleep at night. It is so cute to hear him sing it out with his little voice. Eli enjoys organizing his room and he keeps it quite tidy. He took some pictures of Brian and I from our room and insisted that he put them up in his room. He said they were so beautiful.

Sunday afternoon I took the boys to the local pool. Afterward we came home and enjoyed some popsicles!

16 Weeks!

Summer Loving

We have been loving this warm summer weather. I took the boys to Elm Creek Park this morning to meet up with my friend Gina and her boys. We all had fun in the sun. Later on this evening Brian and I took the boys on a long walk to a park near our house to play.  I love getting the boys outside!

Yesterday I was reading the boys a Blues Clues Book about feelings. I asked Eli a few questions:

When do you feel happy: When I can play outside

When do you feel sad: When it rains and I cannot play outside

When do you feel angry: When the basement is not finished and I cannot play down there yet

When do you feel scared: When there are shadows in my room

When do you feel excited: When I get to see Papa and Nana

It was fun to see what Eli had to say!

Yesterday I took Eli in for his first dentist visit. This is how he felt about it, a little nervous. He sat in the chair and let the hygienist tell him what all of the tools are for, but he did not let her look in his mouth. Hopefully he will let her do more next time, she said this can be normal for first time visits.

Summer Weather!

We are loving this warm weather! We got our pass to the local pool again for the summer and we have already gone two times. We plan on going to the pool this afternoon because it will be a high of 93 degrees today. It is fun to see the boys have a blast going down water slides.

The other day we had a fun time hanging out with our friends the Brookins and the Ballards. We all had dinner together and then went to a park. We got to borrow the Brookins cool stroller.
