Asa is Walking!

Our Boys

It is so fun to watch our boys grow each day. A week ago Asa started walking! He is so proud of himself. It is so fun to see him go! Asa now has his top two and bottom two teeth. He looks so adorable when he grins!

Eli has hit the word explosion and is talking so much now! He says some really sweet and funny things. One day I told him we are going to head over to Papa and Nana's house and he said, "makes me so happy." Eli is always saying "love dadda, love mama". Yesterday Daddy was letting Eli put coins in a jar and he said with a smile, "love money best!" Oh my!

We are trying to teach Eli to share toys with Asa instead of taking toys away from him. Now Eli says "share" when he wants something Asa is using. He thinks "share" means give it to me. Oh well, we will keep working on this! We took off Eli's clothes after he got all muddy playing in the backyard today. He ate lunch naked. After lunch he said "I'm naked!" and then he said "Uh oh! I have mac and cheese on my pee pee!" He is a funny little boy!

7th Wedding Anniversary Getaway in Stillwater!

Nana, Auntie Karen, Papa, and Auntie Kristi all pitched in to watch our boys so that we could have a getaway to celebrate our anniversary at the Aurora Staples Inn, which is a Bed in Breakfast in Stillwater MN. We had such a relaxing time together and the weather was absolutely beautiful along the river. We cannot wait to go back someday!

Cousin Fun!

Last Thursday we all met up at Elm Creek Park to see cousins and second cousins! We enjoyed sharing a picnic barbecue dinner and the kids had fun playing on the playground. It was great to catch up with my cousins! A few nights later Becky, Karen, and I met up in the evening and had a delightful time together over appetizers. 

 

Karen is Back!

My sister Karen has returned from her 11 month mission trip serving God all around the world! We are so proud of her and so glad to have her back!

Asa is 11 Months Old!

 Our Asa is 11 months old! He is so big! Asa is getting so close to walking. He will stand up by himself for a minute and then take a few steps. He is so proud of himself when he does this! 

Asa has his two bottom teeth in and also one of his top teeth is now in too. It looks like he will be getting three more teeth on top very soon. Asa is a good eater and is eating more finger foods these days. He is quite the chatter box and says a lot of mama and dada.

Asa is so interactive and loves any finger plays. He especially loves Here is a Ball for Baby and Open Shut Them. He is a joy!
