These past few weeks have been jam packed with activities for our family! I got voted in to serve in the role as Secretary for our co-op board this past week. We enjoyed a dinner out and a crazy game of Whiryball with the outgoing board members and the new board members. It was a night full of laughs!
Eli and Asa started baseball! They have already had some exciting games! Both of the boys are doing a great job of pitching. Asa loves to be able to steal bases, he is super fast! Eli had an amazing catch out in right field and he had an awesome hit to score the first score of the game!
Brian is coaching Eli's team and Asa has Eli's coach from last year. They are both so glad to play with good friends on both of their teams. Greta is happy that they have friends with younger sisters that she can play with at the ballfields. I love to cheer them on!!
A week ago we had our annual co-op Variety Show and Project Fair. Asa got asked to help my friend Megan as Masters of Ceremonies for the night. He was able to tell many jokes and dress up in funny costumes to introduce each act. He did a great job! Asa is a born performer!
Asa and Greta did a beautiful job singing the worship song "Reckless Love of God" and Dad accompanied them on the guitar. I am so proud of their bravery!
Asa and Greta had fun singing the song that they learned in their music class, "If I were a Butterfly." I remember singing that song when I was a girl. It is a sweet one!
Eli showcased his beautiful wood burning art in the Project Fair. He got many compliments on his hard work!
The beginning nights of baseball practice were a bit cold, Greta and I had to bundle up! Thankfully it has warmed up now.
Greta is learning to rollerblade! Asa has been a great coach for her, the rollerblades sure make her tall!
Greta finished her spelling for the year!
We had another fun co-op social. It is called swim and gym. The kids get to go swimming and then play in the gym together after having a potluck dinner. It was a great night!
Greta is a gifted artist like her Nana. She drew Bambi.
Eli hanging out with his good friends Hans and Charlie. We are blessed that they both live in our neighborhood and go to our homeschool co-op!
Dad took the kids to see Super Mario Bros in the Theater while I went over to Karen's to finish our Pride and Prejudice viewing marathon.
Last weekend we had a wonderful time celebrating sweet Theo at his first birthday party! I love these beautiful pictures that Brian took of our celebration together.
