Happy 40th Birthday Brian!

 Brian turned 40 on April 22nd! We enjoyed celebrating him all week. I gave him a 40th birthday party with his closest friends and it was a wonderful celebration. We enjoyed good food, drinks, and a bonfire. He felt loved and celebrated. The kids and I made him a special breakfast and then we went to Mall of America for the day to celebrate him. We went on rides, went out for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, and then we solved an escape room with the Vest family. It was a gold rush theme and we finished with 20 minutes to spare! The kids loved playing together at Legoland afterward. 

Happy 40th birthday Brian! Brian loves the Lord, he works hard to provide, he has the best sense of humor, and he is completely dedicated to our family. We love you!!

We have two beavers living in our pond this spring! These pictures were taken awhile ago, thankfully the snow is gone now!

Happy Easter!

 We had a lovely Easter weekend celebration. I am so thankful for the hope that we have in Jesus. Easter is a wonderful time to focus my mind on that truth. 

We went to our Good Friday service at our church as a family. Then, we went to the Easter service and the kids enjoyed the huge egg hunt that our church puts on each Easter. It was their first time finding eggs in the snow! We enjoyed Easter lunch at Papa's house. Ben's parents joined us and it was great to spend time with them again.The food was delicious! 

We had a big warm up this week and now our backyard in a lake from all of the snow melt! The kids love looking for frogs.

The kids used sidewalk chalk to make this beautiful stained glass cross with their neighbor friends. 

I made the rainbow jello cake again for Easter! I think this one turned out the best.

Beginning of April

Last weekend Brian and I went to Eau Claire, WI to dance the night away at a Viennese Ball. We love to dance! This was our third time attending this Ball. We danced the polka, waltzed in the ballroom, and finished the night swing dancing. We love dancing to the beautiful live music! We spent the night at a cute bed and breakfast. We would definitely stay there again! 

Brian as been teaching the kids macro photography. They did a great job!

Greta and I went to Autumn's bridal shower on Sunday afternoon. Greta is so excited to be her flower girl this June!

A few weeks ago I went to a delicious dinner at Megan's house. Milli told us all about Indian food and we enjoyed a feast!
