End of the School Year Happenings

Eli and Asa have been enjoying their baseball season! Eli is playing 10U baseball and he has been doing an awesome job pitching during the games. He has also gotten some great hits! Asa is playing 8U baseball and he has been getting some great hits and he is an awesome fielder! He loves to play first base and get the quick outs. Eli's team is called the Diamond Backs and Asa's team is called the Bulls. It has been so fun to cheer them on! Brian is serving as an assistant coach for Eli's team and he is the pitcher for Asa's team. Brian is great with the kids!

Eli loves playing with his friends Brayden and Greyson.

Asa loves to play with his friend Jase.

Greta enjoys playing with her friends during the baseball games. Greta, Bella, and Brielle are the sweet younger sisters of the baseball boys.

Through our co-op we had a star gazing night and a retired meteorologist came with telescopes for us to look through at the moon and the stars. It was an amazing experience! We also had a bonfire with s'mores.

Through our co-op the kids were able to make their own rockets and launch them at the park together. The kids loved this experience!

We had the end of the school year co-op picnic with food and games. It was great to look through our yearbooks at all of the fun experiences and memories we shared this past school year.

Brian has taken the boys out fishing a few times this spring!

Last Sunday afternoon we met up with the Long family at Forest Lake for the boys to go fishing and for the girls to play at the park. When the sun went behind the clouds it was chilly, Anna and I were trying to stay warm as we watched the girls play at the playground.

Greta finished math!

Asa finished spelling!

I love it when Greta lets me do her hair. It is getting so long!

A recent science lesson on the similarities and differences of animals and plants.

We had another great school year! It has been a joy to watch the kids learn and grow. In the fall Eli will be in 5th grade, Asa will be in 3rd grade, and Greta will be in 1st grade.

Meeting Baby Theo!

Last week we were thrilled to meet our nephew and sweet cousin Theo! We are so incredibly happy for Kristi and Ben! We know that they will be amazing parents. The kids were so excited to hold their new cousin and I am so happy to be an auntie! Tomorrow we will head back over to see them again and Brian will take some newborn pictures for them. We love you Kristi, Ben, and Theo!

Happy Mother's Day

Being Mom to these three is the greatest gift! My family celebrated me well on Mother's Day. Brian and the kids gave me sweet cards and flowers. Brian and the kids made me a big breakfast and then we all went to church. After church, Brian made a reservation at Bricks restaurant for a Mother's Day special brunch. It was delicious! That afternoon, Karen and I went to Mom's gravesite and brought a beautiful flower basket to place there. Then, we went over to Dad's for a visit. Mother's Day is always a bit bittersweet because I love being a Mom and yet I really miss my Mom. I am thankful for the time that I had with her on earth and I look forward to being reunited with her again someday in heaven.

I love my kiddos! So blessed.

Love you forever Mom.

Variety Show and Project Fair

I am proud of these three! Asa and Greta performed in our homeschool co-op Variety Show and Eli showcased his wood carvings in our co-op Project Fair. Asa told 10 of his favorite jokes and he had everyone laughing! He is a natural on stage. Greta recited the poem, I Have A Little Frog with confidence. All three of them received many compliments throughout the evening. I am proud of their hard work and bravery!
