We enjoyed celebrating the Dads in our life on Father's Day. The kids and I made a delicious breakfast for Brian and they gave him cards and presents. We then all went to church together. Later that afternoon we had Papa, Karen, Kristi, and Ben for for a potluck dinner. We played Family Feud, the kids favorite game, and Mexican Train Dominos. We also gave some cards and present to Papa. I love asking the kids questions about Brian and Papa. They give the sweetest responses.

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to my husband Brian! You love our kids so well. They are so blessed to have you for their Dad.
Happy Father's Day to my amazing Dad who is always up for a good hike! My Dad is always there for my family and I.
We finished off the day by having Papa read the third book in The Chronicles of Narnia, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, to the kids. They love story time with Papa.
Summer Adventures
Our summer has been off to a great start! Last week Eli and Asa participated in a week long soccer camp with their good friends Brayden and Jace. They had a fun time learning soccer skills and playing soccer games together. They were excited to get a medal at the end of the week.
Eli has decided that he also wants to play baseball next spring. He has loved watching Asa play this year and he is excited to play next year. It has been fun to watch the boys play baseball together in our yard. Asa has had some awesome baseball games. The last two games were super close and he and his team came in on top at the last inning for both games! Braydon and Jace have come to watch Asa play baseball this year and they both want to play with the boys next year.
While the boys were at soccer camp, Greta and Brielle enjoyed playing dress up together.
Last week Brian took the boys and neighbor friend Hans early morning fishing on Forest Lake.
Brian and Eli joined fishing with friend Evan the other week.
We have had three baby owls living in our trees. It has been a delight to see them every evening.
Greta loves swinging on the tire swing at Papa's house that enjoyed swinging on as a girl.
Playing ping pong with Papa.
A few Sundays ago Greta and I wore matching dresses to church.
A few weeks ago we were swimming at a friend's pool and Eli cut his knee on the part of their deck that was not finished. He had to go into Urgent Care to get two stitches. Thankfully it has healed nicely. His good friend Hans wrote him the sweetest get well card and Eli wrote him a thank you back. I am grateful for their friendship.

The weather has been hot!
We have had hot temperatures in the mid to upper nineties for the past week. We have tried to find ways to keep cool each day. We have cooled off in our slip n slide, swam in the neighbor's pool, swam in a friend from baseball's pool, swam at Coon Lake, went tubing, boating, and fishing. Yesterday the kids had a lemonade and cookie stand with our neighbor friends. It was a success and they had a lot of business! It has been a fun start to the summer!
We have such a fun time cheering on Asa and his team the Red Bulls at their baseball games!
Brian dug footings for our deck and the kids had fun playing in the holes!
We have so many baby owls in our yard, we love seeing them in the evenings.
The other day I realized that Brian asked me to marry him 15 years ago! Oh I love him.
Brian and Eli had a fun fishing trip on Lake Mille Lacs the other day. They caught some big fish!
Our peonies are just beautiful!
