Our Amazing Trip tp Florida!

We left to drive to Florida right after our Co-op! We were all so excited!

We stopped to visit my cousin Holly in Tennessee on the way down. It was great to get the second cousins together and spend time with Holly and her husband.

We were so happy to get to Florida! We stayed in the Fort Myers Beach area. We loved our house rental and we were within walking distance from the beach. The weather was warm and sunny! We spent 2 weeks relaxing in Florida and it was a wonderful time for our family. I am so thankful we were able to go!

Family pictures on the beach!

Everyday we swam in the ocean and the kids always had to have their evening swim when we would go watch the sunset each night.

The many expressions of Asa. I love this boy!

The kids loved catching lizards and Eli spotted an iguana to point out to us. I love our first born!

Sweet girly Greta. We love her!

Greta says this is her cute face! She uses it when she wants something!

Oh my we love these three treasures!

Watching the sunset on the beach with him is my favorite.

The kids collected so many shells and we built a lot of sandcastles!

We saw a bunch of gopher turtles!

Going out for ice cream is always a good idea!

We went with a fisherman on a private ocean fishing trip for 6 hours one day! It was a bit scary getting out to the cove because of the huge waves and bumpy ride! Once we got to the cove it was absolutely beautiful and caught some amazing fish! We caught Jacks, Red Fish, Sheep head, and a massive Snook. Of course the boys were in their happy place. My favorite part was seeing dolphins right up close to us! The stayed by our boat the whole time and we fed them fish! We also got to cook up the Sheep head for dinner and the following lunch. It was the best fish I have ever tasted! What an epic trip and memories made for our family!

We drove down to Naples for the day and went to the Naples Pier, Clam Pass Beach, and out to dinner at The Dock. It was a lovely day!

My favorite beach of all was Lover's Key Beach. It is a state park and it is super beautiful and private!

On our way home we stayed at a beautiful family friendly Bed and Breakfast in Gainesville Florida. We loved spending time in the pool and gardens!

It was an amazing trip! After being gone for 3 weeks we were excited to be back home again!
