We had a fun filled 4th of July celebration! We started the day by hosting Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle Jason during the morning and for a barbecue lunch. Afterward we had rest time for the whole family and Greta napped. We wanted her to be rested so that she could stay up for fireworks. After rest time we visited Papa, Nana, and Auntie Karen. The kids enjoyed finding huge frogs in their pond. We then went out on our boat for a ride and swim. We have spent many days on the lake boating and swimming! After our time on the boat, we headed over to Forest Lake to watch the fireworks. They put on a spectacular show and it was fun to have Karen and her friend Heather join us.
Happy Independence Day! I love getting 4th of July clothes for our family each year, it is a fun family tradition.
Yesterday we spent the day at Coon Lake Beach with my friend Tracy and her family. The boys made sandcastles with Ben for a long time!
