Eli turns 7

Happy Birthday Brian!

On Saturday Papa and Nana babysat the kids so that Brian and I could go out on a dinner date to the Melting Pot restaurant for a delicious dinner to celebrate his birthday. Afterward, we went for a walk around Boom Island in Minneapolis to digest. On his actual birthday, we went out to dinner as a family to celebrate. I am so thankful for this man, he is a gift from God.

He is Risen! Happy Easter!

We had a delightful Easter celebration, remembering what Jesus has done for us and the new life He has given to us. On Friday our family was home for the day, so we had our first Easter egg hunt in our woods and the kids loved it! On Saturday, we visited Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle Jason. The kids enjoyed an Easter egg hunt at their house and we had lunch together. On Sunday, we went to church and then spent the rest of the day celebrating at Papa and Nana's house with Aunt Karen and Aunt Kristi. We missed you Uncle David! We enjoyed spending the day outside and the kids got to have a third Easter egg hunt at Papa and Nana's house. We celebrated with a delicious feast and played a game of Family Feud outside. It was a beautiful weekend of celebration!

Early April

We had fun celebrating Easter a bit early today. We made Resurrection rolls and dyed Easter eggs. We love our Easter celebration traditions.

Brian took a picture of how I actually feel when we are dying the eggs. It can be stressful with them all touching the eggs. Bless them!

A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed going to the Como Zoo and Conservatory for the day.

Last Sunday afternoon we took Kristi out for High Tea at Cafe Latte for her birthday celebration. It was delicious!

Last Sunday afternoon we had some excitement as a family. Eli and Asa both learned to ride their bikes without training wheels! They were both so proud of themselves! It was a sweet memory to share together.

As Brian and I were drinking our morning coffee we spotted our first fox in our back yard! The kids were thrilled.
