It's A Wonderful Life!

We had the best day celebrating the birth of our Savior today! Happy birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas everyone!

We woke up to these adorable smiles and much excitement this morning! We had these pajamas wrapped outside of their bedrooms and they had to put them on before going downstairs. Then they opened up their stockings and their presents! We had a big breakfast and then went over to Papa and Nana's house to celebrate.

We opened presents, had a deliocus dinner, played Family Feud as a family, and the kids loved playing with all of their new gifts! It was wonderful to have the whole family together again. It was an awesome day with our favorite people!

The kids enjoyed our Jesse Tree Advent Calendar time each morning this month. We read a story about Jesus's family tree on earth and then Bible verses each day. The best part was putting the baby Jesus picture on the tree!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We are remembering that God has sent us Jesus so that we can have Immanuel, God is with us.
We have enjoyed the warmer weather and have spend some time hiking through our back woods this winter. We have also loved the sunshine!

Greta and I enjoying our afternoon tea time.

She has been letting me put pigtails in her hair again!

Last Tuesday we enjoyed seeing Asa sing and ring bells in his Preschool Christmas Program. We were glad that Papa and Nana were able to join us.

Asa was thrilled to wear his Christmas sweater and sing!

Greta and I had fun putting on dresses and dancing to the Nutcracker ballet music.

On Saturday we went to the Substance Church Christmas service.

My friend Jamie gave us this sweet Christmas ornament. I put in a picture of the kids at the ocean, so that we could remember our amazing California trip last summer.

Mid December

We have been getting ready for Christmas! We all enjoyed seeing Eli sing in his school Christmas musical, Dude You Hear What I Hear? He did a wonderful job and the musical had a great message about Jesus. Eli was excited that Papa and Nana were able to come see him sing in the musical too. We are looking forward to Asa's preschool Christmas program on Tuesday.

The kids enjoyed decorating their gingerbread houses.

Mommy interviewing Greta on her birthday, video will be coming soon!

Beautiful artwork kids!

The kids helped me make one of my favorite Christmas cookies, gingerbread cookies!
