Feels Like Spring

We have been thrilled to have warm spring weather this week. The kids have been outside enjoying the sunshine we had the past few days and we have made trips to the park. Yesterday we spent the afternoon at SpringBrook Nature Center hiking through the woods. The boys are already looking for bugs!

Greta loves to swing!

Asa and Eli are awesome climbers

Greta enjoys having Daddy spin her around.

Eli loves to organize just like his mama. The other day we found him organizing our pantry for us!

Yesterday morning my dear friend Jenny and I went for a sunny walk at Elm Creek Park on the nature trails. Jenny and I have been close friends since the first day of grad school back in 2005. I thought she looked like someone I would be good friends with and I invited her to sit with me. I am happy to say I was right! We are similarly minded and we have the best conversations.

End of March

Daddy and the boys have been enjoying many campfires in our backyard thanks to our neighbors who gave us a large bundle of wood.

This is Asa. He is always dancing and most of the time easy going. He teaches me to relax and enjoy being in the present moment. He is a ton of fun!

Brian and I enjoy our dates together.

We had a fun time celebrating Kristi's birthday last Sunday. We took her out to lunch and then did some shopping together!

Greta loves bath time. It is so cute to see her smashing around on her belly.

We have conferences with Eli's Pre-K teacher Miss Byron next week. She sent us home his progress report and he is doing awesome! We are proud of our hard working boy.

Last week his class learned about the letter T and they had a Tahitian party!

Yesterday we checked out the brand new library in Brooklyn Park. They have a huge play area for the kids. They loved it and are already asking to go back.

Siblings. They love each other!

Our fun crew!

Serving at Feed My Starving Children

This past Thursday evening, Eli and I had a blast serving at Feed My Starving Children with our table group from Substance Church Moms Group. All of the kids did awesome! It was a great time packing food to send to children in need. Afterward Eli asked me when we could go serve again!

Wisconsin Dells Family Vacation

We had a fantastic time as a family staying at the Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark this week. It was fun to see the boys be brave and try out some big waterslides for the first time. They even opened a brand new kiddy pool play area that Greta loved. It was good to get away as a family for a bit.

All ready for the waterpark!

Story time with Daddy after a busy day.

Bathtime!

Eli loves shaving cream time at school.

Asa is always pretending to be Spider-man!

All of the boys pretending to sleep on the couch.

Eli enjoyed watching and putting on a puppet show with his classmates last week.

Mid March

Greta sitting on her special chair.

It was really warm out Monday, so we went for a long walk to the park and then enjoyed popsicles in the backyard. We are ready for it to be warm again and feel like spring.

Asa and I have special time together on Tuesdays and Thursday when Eli is at Pre-K and Greta is napping. We have fun playing games together.

Asa was proud because he won the Richard Scarry airplane game!

Greta enjoying her lunch!

I love seeing all of her new teeth when she smiles.

Last weekend we all had a stomach bug. Greta knew Daddy was not feeling well and she snuggled up next to him. It was so sweet!

Asa and Greta play well together.

They have fun riding their horses!

Eli and his classmates enjoyed celebrating Preston's birthday last week.

I always find Asa cuddled up in his blanket.

Asa woke up with his hair like this and I had to get a picture.

Eli was excited to go to school.

Brian bought the boys a dinosaur bone digging kit and the boys were thrilled to dig again.

They really did an awesome job and they liked pretending to be paleontologists.

After they dug up all of the bones, they got to put them together to make three different dinosaurs.
They put together a Triceratops, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and a Stegosaurus.
