Yesterday we had a fun time visiting a pumpkin patch as a family. The boys enjoyed seeing all of the pumpkins, petting the animals, and playing with the trucks on the big mound. Eli did not want to try the big slide or the bounce house; he is a pretty cautious kid. Asa loved trying out the big slide and the bounce house. Both boys loved the hay ride the best!

Late September
We have been loving the warm weather we have been having this September. The boys have enjoyed spending so much time outside.
Every week I take the boys to the library for story time. The last time we were there the librarian introduced herself to the group and right after Asa stood up and said, "I am a big guy!" The librarian was taken aback a bit, but said, "why yes you are." He is such a funny boy! Eli can now do the library book self check out completely by himself. As he finished checking out our books, he said, "I am proud of myself. I am a big helper in my family!" The lady standing next to us said, "that was so cute!" He is a sweet boy and a big helper.

Family Mini Vacation to Duluth!
We were blessed with beautiful, sunny weather the entire time we visited Duluth. We were in Duluth from Sunday to Tuesday. Our friends Pete and Angela Olson got us an incredible deal to stay right on the lake in one of the guest rooms connected to their condo. The boys had a blast throwing rocks in the lake and watching the ships pass by. We had an amazing time as a family!
I have to share this super amazing story from our trip. One of the mornings we went out to eat breakfast at the Duluth Grill restaurant. When we were getting ready to pay, the waitress told us that the older couple sitting next to us already paid for our meal when they left. We were blown away, it was not a cheap meal. What a huge blessing! I had tears in my eyes when the waitress told us. God bless that couple!
The boys were excited to go to Duluth!
Our friends Pete and Angela had us over for dinner one of the evenings and over for breakfast one of the mornings. Our kids had fun playing with their daughter Ella and son Sam. Look at the beautiful view from their deck!
