Fun with Cousins

Yesterday Steve, Sue, Becky, and Sadie all came over to Papa and Nana's house to visit for dinner. We had fun playing outside together and catching up! Becky took this fun picture of us outside. Papa and the boys are in the canoe in the background-Eli and Asa's favorite place to be. It was a great evening!

Asa Turns 2!

Our Asa is 2 years old! Happy birthday to our Asa! He is such a sweet, smart, and adventurous big boy! We love him and are so blessed to be his parents. Asa loves to swing on the big swings all by himself, he enjoys playing with his Thomas trains, he likes looking for bugs, turtles, frogs, and toads with big brother Eli, and he loves to sing and dance. He is such a joy to be around and always has a big smile on his face. 

I took Asa in for his 2 year well child doctor appointment. He is a healthy boy! He is 33 inches tall, which puts him in the 20th percentile. He weighs 24 pounds, which puts him in the 7th percentile. We need to keep encouraging our picky eater to eat more! Love this boy!

Asa's 2nd Birthday Party!

We had a lovely time celebrating 2nd Asa's birthday with both sides of the family yesterday. We had a Thomas the Tank Engine theme birthday for Asa because he likes Thomas and loves to play with trains. Asa got many fun toys for his birthday. He got a Thomas the Train table, many Thomas trains and tracks for the table, a remote control car, a Leapfrog Learning Letters magnet set for the fridge, bubbles, a Daniel Tiger stuffed animal, a Thomas T-shirt, m & ms, a slinky, and a Thomas sippy cup and matching plate set. Asa had a blast celebrating with everyone and playing with his new toys!
