Our Eli turns 3 this week! We love our adventurous, curious, smart, and sweet little boy! It is so fun to see him learn new things every day and to see his vocabulary take off! On the day of his birthday party he saw me dressed up and said, "Mommy you look really nice". He is super sweet!
We celebrated his birthday with both sides of the family last Saturday and he had a great time! This was the first year that he understood that his birthday was coming up and he had been waiting in anticipation for weeks! All week he would say, "I want to have my happy birthday party now". He had a hard time waiting! On the day of his party he had no trouble taking a nap because he knew when he woke up everyone would be here and he could finally celebrate his birthday. Daddy, Mommy, Asa, Papa, Nana, Grandpa, Grandma, Auntie Karen, Auntie Kristi, and Uncle Jason were all able to be here to celebrate his birthday. We missed you Uncle David and look forward to seeing you soon for Thanksgiving! Eli had such a special day with a Blues Clues themed party, which is his favorite show.

Eli all ready to open his big pile of presents
Eli was blessed with many presents for his birthday. He got a soccer ball, balloons, a felt Sesame Street play book, a desk to do artwork, lots of arts and crafts supplies, finger paints, stickers, balls, passes to play at Adventure Park, The Sneaky Snacky Squirrel board game, lots of Play-Doh, and Pooh Bear puzzles.
The sisters got pretty excited to look at the Sesame Street felt book, it felt like we were kids again! Mom said she felt like she was looking back in time. =)
Daddy gave the boys a fun blanket ride with the birthday balloons
I decorated the birthday boy's chair
Eli LOVED his Blues Clues cake!
