Asa is 5 Months Old!

Our Asa is already 5 months old and growing so fast. He is even starting to sit up on his own now. Asa loves to spend time in his bouncer while watching big brother Eli play. He is such a smiley and happy big boy!

Around the House

Lately we have spent most of our time around our house. Brian had his appendix taken out suddenly a week ago, so we have stayed home while he has been recovering. He is doing much better now. We have also been staying inside because it has been so cold this winter. Brian has had 5 days off from his school job this year because of the cold! It has been nice having him home so often. We are hoping for warmer days soon, so that we can take the boys outside to play in the snow.

Date Night!

The other night Papa, Nana, and Uncle David came over to babysit the boys so that we could go out for a fun date night. We went to a new restaurant in Minneapolis called The Butcher and the Boar. It was delicious and we had a delightful time!

Asa Loves Baths!

I am happy to say that Asa now loves his baths. It is so cute to see him smile and laugh as he kicks away in the bubbles. He is getting so big!

What We Have Been Up To Lately

Even though it has been a very cold winter we have been staying warm and enjoying ourselves. Our boys bring us joy and laughter every day!

Asa all bundled up to go for a car ride!

Daddy and Eli at the Christmas program at our church

The music was so loud that Eli got a little scared, so Brian took him out into the lobby. Eli thought it was great fun to play with the big candy cane!

I love Asa's big smile!

Happiness is being married to your best friend =)

We went to Sea Life Aquarium at the Mall of America. The boys loved it!

It got warm enough for a few days and Brian got to take Eli out in the snow to play!

The Hundred Acre Wood has come alive

I adore this picture of Asa!

A few weeks ago we brought Auntie Kristi cookies and visited her at her cute new apartment

Someone got a little crazy with the chocolate pudding

Eli loves playing with Play-Doh

Brian gave Eli a cardboard box and some crayons, he thought it was the best thing in the world. Here he is pretending to drive it like a car.

Eli and Daddy built a snowman in our backyard!

Papa and Nana gave Eli a chalk board easel for Christmas, he loves it!

Asa already has his first little haircut. As you can see here, he had some hair that stuck straight up. Mommy and Nana decided it was time to cut it off and now his hair looks even again.

I love the shifty eyes

He loves his bouncer!

Eli loves anything to do with letters. I am proud to say he knows all of his letters and sounds now! I will post a video of him saying the letters and sounds soon. He enjoys making letters and numbers with Play-Doh and sticking them on the wall!

Asa enjoys watching big brother Eli play

The other day Mommy and Auntie Kristi had fun going shopping and out to dinner together

Today we started potty training Eli. We started a bit before we had Asa, then we realized that was not good timing, so we have waited until now to start again. Eli went potty the first time we tried today and he gets to earn gold star stickers for every time he goes. He is very motivated to earn the stickers!
