Asa is 3 Months Old!

Asa is already 3 months old! He is a smiley and happy little boy. He is getting really strong and can lift his head up while laying on his tummy for a long time now. Asa has found his hands and loves to grab at rings and other toys within reach. Asa enjoys it when we read him books and sing to him.
We love to hear him coo!

Our Smiley Asa

We sure love our little Asa who is getting bigger by the day! It is hard to believe that he will be 12 weeks old on Tuesday! He is a happy baby!

Mom's Birthday!

I had a special 32nd birthday! On my birthday Papa and Nana Meyer came over to babysit the boys so that Brian and I could go on a date. We went to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre to see Fiddler on the Roof. It was a fantastic performance and we had a fun time talking with the people sitting next to us during the dinner before the show.

The day after my birthday, Dad, Mom, and Kristi came over to celebrate at our house. Mom brought over birthday dinner and cake. Eli helped me blow out the candles!

The beautiful flowers that Brian bought me =)

Eli's Two Year Old Birthday!

The Saturday before Eli's birthday we invited both sides of the family over to celebrate Eli's birthday with a "Play Ball" birthday theme. Mom and I decorated the house with soccer ball, basketball, baseball, and football decorations. Eli was very excited to see all of the balls! We also ordered him a "Play Ball" themed ice cream cake, it was delicious! For his birthday Eli got a wooden kitchen with pots and pans, play foods, two foam balls, Mr. Potato Head, and a Leap Frog Alphabet and Numbers learning toy. Eli loved opening his presents! He enjoys playing with all of his new toys.  I practice his alphabet and numbers with him everyday at breakfast time.

Eli usually loves blowing out candles, however, when everyone starting singing "Happy Birthday" to him he got scared. He started crying and cling to me! We eventually calmed him down and he did blow out him candles. Eli loved eating the ice cream cake.

On his actual birthday we took him out to dinner where he got to have a special birthday sundae with a candle on it. He enjoyed blowing that candle out and eating the sundae.

Eli liked all of the ball decorations!

Singing happy birthday scared him, help me Mom!

His new play kitchen!

Eli was happy to play with his new kitchen the next morning.
