Eli is becoming more like his father everyday.

32 Weeks Pregnant

I am 32 weeks pregnant! We are working on getting everything ready for Eli's baby brother to get here soon! 

Eli Eats Corn on the Cob

At dinner tonight we gave Eli corn on the cob for the first time. He loved it and dove right in! I love how curly his hair is getting, now that it is growing longer. 

New Outfit

My Mom picked me up this cute maternity outfit and I asked Brian to take a few photos of me in it tonight in our backyard. 

The Puddle

The other morning I took Eli for a stroller ride to the park. As soon as we arrived I saw that about one third of the baseball diamond was covered in water after our thunderstorm the night before. I thought to myself that I should be able to keep Eli away from the puddle. That was harder than I thought. I finally gave in to let him have the time of his life playing with his ball in the puddle. It was fun to watch and I got some fun pictures! 

All wet!

June 2013

Here is Eli with his favorite toy for the past few weeks, a ball. Eli loves to play with any kind of ball he can get his hands on. As soon as he wakes up from his nap he starts saying, "ball, ball" he wants to play with a ball. He is getting very good at shooting baskets in his basketball hoop. I asked him to smile and he is "smiling" for the camera in this picture. 

Eli loves to ride around in his car with his animals.

Father's Day

For Father's Day we went to church and then came home for lunch. After Eli's nap we went to the Anoka Aquatic Center. We got family passes for the summer. It will be a great way for us to stay cool this summer and have fun as a family. The first time we took Eli there this summer he was very nervous. He kept saying Dada, Mama. Now he has a blast going down the kiddie water slides, playing in the shallow pool, and greeting everyone he sees. I enjoy doing laps in the lap pool and Brian likes diving off the high dive. When we were finished at the pool we went to my parents house to celebrate with my Dad by having a barbecue. Karen and Kristi were there too, we gave Dad lots of new socks for his birthday because he needed some badly! We then all came over to our house to watch a movie after Eli was in bed for the night. I love family time!

Mr. Personality

We think Eli is a little extrovert like his Daddy and Mommy. Everywhere we take him he waves and blows kisses at everyone around him. It is really sweet! I took him to a friend's grad party yesterday and he made friends with everyone by waving at them and blowing kisses. He is a cheerful and friendly little boy!

7 Years Ago Today

I was remembering 7 years ago today when Brian proposed to me at Pebble Beach, California. What a magical evening it was and still is! Love this guy!

A Walk with Mama

I took Eli for a walk this morning in a field near our home. He held my hand and picked dandelions as we walked. He kept giving my hand kisses. He is a gentleman already!

Little Cowboy

Brian was photographing a wedding today, so Eli and I went over to spend some time at my parents house. Eli had a fun time with Papa Meyer, Nana Meyer, and Auntie Karen. Auntie Karen and I took Eli to play at the playground near my parent's house. Nana got Eli a little ball at a garage sale and he loves it! He enjoyed kicking it around in the field at the park. Eli's favorite things right now are balls, bubbles, and candles. He loves to blow bubbles and blow out candles. He can even blow bubbles with a wand on his own now! He can now say Papa and Nana. Auntie Karen took some cute pictures of Eli riding the horse at their house. He had a great time!
