Happy Thanksgiving

We had a happy Thanksgiving holiday celebrating with both sides of the family. First we went to Amery  to celebrate with Grandpa and Grandma Bossany and Uncle Jason. Then we went to Blaine to celebrate with Grandpa and Grandma Meyer, Great Uncle Jeff, Aunt Karen, Aunt Kristi, and Uncle David. We had lots of laughs and great food for our two Thanksgiving celebrations.

It was fun for everyone to see how well and speedy Eli is walking. He is also very affectionate and gave many hugs and kisses on the cheeks. Eli is now signing "more" when he wants more food. We are so proud of him!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Happy birthday to me! I had a special birthday. On Saturday, Karen came over to babysit Eli so that Brian and I could go out to celebrate my birthday. We dressed up and went out to dinner at the Melting Pot in Minneapolis. We had a delightful time.

On Sunday, my family came over to celebrate with us. We had lunch together and then birthday cake with gifts. I love spending time with family. I am so blessed.

Look at how cute Eli looks in his little red car!

Eli was giggling playing with all of the balloons in his little ball pit.

Harvest Party Fun

We went to our church Harvest Party and we had a fabulous time! We decided to dress up with a family theme. My mom had bought Eli a superman costume so Brian decided to be Clark Kent, I went as Louis Lane, and Eli was baby superman. Everyone loved our theme and guessed it right away. Eli was a bit too young this year to play the games, but we helped him. Daddy and Mommy enjoyed earning the candy from the games! The church had a photo booth set up so we got some fun pictures of our super family!

Every super hero needs his horse!

What a cutie!

Eli is 12 Months Old!

Eli is already 12 months old and what a blessing he has been to us this past year! He continues to be a smiley, happy little boy. He is starting to look more and more like a toddler now, especially as he is now walking around. He will still crawl because he is faster when he crawls, yet he is getting better and better at walking all over the place.

Eli is so interactive and loves to play hide and seek and any kind of chasing game with Mommy and Daddy. He is quick to show us how big he is whenever we ask him. He is showing so big in the pictures below.

We took him in for his 1 year old well child doctor visit and it was fun to see how big he has grown. He now weighs 23 pounds and is in the 72 percentile for weight. He is 31 inches long, which puts him in the 87 percentile for height. We are so thankful he is a healthy little boy.

Eli is eating more table foods now and getting pretty good at eating his finger foods. He likes to eat chicken, black beans, bananas, avocados, green beans, broccoli, and cheese. Eli is still interested in breastfeeding, I am also introducing him to whole milk. Eli has done really well with the whole milk. We are excited for what this next year will bring!

The First Year

We are so excited to share this video.  This video covers the first year of Eli's life.  It is so amazing to see how he has grown.
