Eli is 10 Months Old

It is that time again to take Eli's monthly picture with Pooh. I cannot believe that he is already in the double digits! He continues to explore his surroundings quite speedly by crawling and by walking while holding onto funiture. We know that it will only be a matter of time before he is walking on his own. 

Eli loves to play chasing games and hide and go seek. We hide from him in our living room and he quickly comes crawling to come find us. When he finds us he giggles and giggles. He continues to enjoy peek-a-boo games and storytime. 

Eli is continuing to eat a variety of foods and is getting good at eating finger foods. His new found favorite are these baby cheese puffs. He loves them! We really practice his baby sign language with the cheese puffs because he is so motivated to eat them. 

Eli is always ready to go for stroller rides and trips to the parks near our home. He especially likes swinging on the baby swings at the park.

MN Zoo Fun

We had a wonderful time taking Eli to the Minnesota Zoo. Eli loved watching the sharks and fish swim  around. He also enjoyed watching the dolphins, bears, tigers, camels, monkeys, and tropical birds. The butterfly garden was beautiful. Eli liked the farm animal petting zoo the best. He got so excited to pet the friendly goats!

Playing Around

Eli loves being outside. I am so glad we have had such a lovely summer for him to enjoy playing in our backyard.

Eli Visits the Library

I took Eli to the library for the first time today. He did great! He loved taking the books off the shelves and crawling around. i checked out seven books for him. The librarians will be hosting some baby story times at the library this fall and I plan on taking Eli to a few of them. I think he will enjoy being around the other babies. 

Playing at Elm Creek Park

Brian and I had fun taking Eli to Elm Creek Park in Maple Grove. It was a beautiful late afternoon and Eli enjoyed the saucer swings at the park. The park looks like it was recently updated and we look forward to taking Eli back when he is a bit older so that he can also enjoy the rest of the playground.
