Weekend Events

On Saturday we went to visit Grandpa Bossany, Grandma Bossany, and Uncle Jason. Eli enjoyed playing outside on the swing and watching the dogs play. 

On Sunday Daddy and Mommy took Eli to the Anoka Aquatic Center to play in the pool. We met up with our friends Cole and Joey and their daughter Stella. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and cool off. 

Eli Visits Como Zoo

Today we took Eli to the Como Zoo for the afternoon. He did really well and loved looking at all of the animals. Eli's favorites were the large tropical fish, the giraffes, and the monkeys. He stayed awake the entire time until he fell asleep fast on the stroller ride back to the car.

First Father's Day

Brian had a special first Father's Day. We went to church in the morning and then took a long walk through our neighborhood after lunch. Grandpa Meyer, Grandma Meyer, and Uncle David came over for brownies in the evening. Brian is an amazing father to Eli. Happy Father's Day to both of our Dads!

7 Month Video

Early June

We have already had some warm 90 degree days this June. We helped Eli cool off by letting him take some of his baths on our back deck. He enjoys splashing and playing with his toys. Even Auntie Karen came over to join in the fun!

We have taken Eli on many stroller rides to the parks nearby our home. The other day I was taking him for a walk and an older gentleman told me that I was being a good mom. I thought that was sweet.

Eli Loves Johney Jump Up!

Eli adores his Johney Jump Up! He is content to be in there for up to 20 minutes at a time just jumping away. The other day he even jumped himself to sleep! He got really quiet and we looked over and his eyes were shut, yet he was still jumping.  Eli happens to be a lot like his mother who also enjoyed any kind of bouncing and jumping as a child. My parents would tell me stories of how I would fall alseep bouncing on my horse named Jack. We video taped him jumping and also falling asleep while jumping. Video will be coming soon!

Small Group Barbecue

We love our small group from church. We meet every Wednesday night for Bible Study and fellowship. Tonight we gathered together at Jarrod and Lydia's house for a summer barbecue.
