Lazy Sunday

Eli with one of his favorite toys named Mr. Crinkles Number 2. Eli loves sucking on his pointer finger.

Having a blast with Auntie Karen!

Eli enjoys his time with Auntie Karen and Grandpa Meyer

Dinner at the Vicks

Our good friends Andrew and Janelle Vick invited us over for a cookout last night. It was the first time Eli came over to their house. We had a wonderful time enjoying the warm weather, grilled steak, and delightful conversation.

Eli got all tuckered out and fell asleep on my shoulder. It he so precious!

Annual Burning of the Christmas Trees

Every spring we gather at Grandpa and Grandma Meyer's house to carry on a tradition. The tradition is the burning of the Christmas trees. We burn the trees in their backyard in the woods. This year the second tree that we burned looked like a bomb going off! It was amazing! Grandma is always nervous about the tree burning and usually stays in the house. This time she did join us in the backyard, even though she was a bit nervous. This was Eli's first tree burning experience; we had a fun time!

Grandpa and Eli enjoyed looking at the fire.

Group picture!

Here was the first one!

Here was the second one! Wow! And yes Kristi looks like she is melting.

St. Patrick's Day at the Bossany's

On St. Patrick's Day we went to Grandpa and Grandma Bossany and Uncle Jason's house for the day. We had lovely weather and Eli was decked out in green! We had fun eating burgers for lunch, relaxing in the backyard, and eating green jello for dessert! Eli enjoyed riding in the outdoor swing and meeting their pet ferret!

Date Night

Friday night Grandpa and Grandma Meyer came over to babysit Eli so Mommy and Daddy could go out on a hot date. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma! Brian and I got all dressed up to go out for dinner at the Melting Pot in Minneapolis. The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant. We had a delicious four course meal. It started with a bread and cheese fondue, then salads, then a meat and potato fondue, and then a yummy chocolate and fruit fondue. Afterward, we stopped by the Stone Arch Bridge for an evening walk. What a beautiful evening!
