Eli 2 Months Old

Eli is 2 Months Old!

Eli is laying on the blanket that Great Grandma Chaplin made for him and is wearing the overalls outfit that Grandma Meyer gave to him. He loves to kick away!

Eli's Second Month

We had a fun time with family for Eli's first Thanksgiving. Eli got to meet his Uncle David for the first time who came home from college. Eli also got to meet his Great Uncle Jeff who came from Illinois to celebrate with the family for Thanksgiving. We had beautiful, warm fall weather so we were able to take family pictures outside. 

Eli has grown so much this second month. He gives us lots of big smiles everyday.

Eli wishes he could have our bed!

Grandma and Grandpa Bossany and Uncle Jason Bossany came to our house to celebrate Christmas the weekend before Christmas. 

Eli was a bit tired to open his presents this year, he will be able to next year! Eli loves his car rides!

Eli has a Winnie the Pooh mobile that he loves to look at. He smilies and coos at it when we place him in his crib. 

Eli's first Christmas! 

We celebrated Christmas with Grandpa Meyer, Grandma Meyer, Aunt Karen, Aunt Kristi, and Uncle David on Christmas day. 

He is growing fast, but he is still a little guy!

Cousin Becky gave Eli this toy and he loves to bat at the toys hanging from it.

Aunt Kristi gave Eli this little winter hat for Christmas. Dad had fun taking many cute photos of him in it.

Eli's First Month

Our friends Al and Lyndsey Johnson from On3Design took some 9 month pregnancy photos for us in a park near our home. It is fun to look at the pictures and think of baby Eli in my tummy and now he is with us. They did an awesome job!

Grandpa and Grandma Meyer came over to babysit Eli so Mommy and Daddy could go out to dinner for Mommy's 30th birthday!

My cousin Alison from Greater Good Photography came over to our home to take some newborn pictures of Eli when he was a week and a half old. She captured him so well! We had fun spending time with her and my Aunt Sue. 

Bath time for Eli! He really enjoys his bath, as long as it is right after his feeding time. Everything goes better when he has a full stomach! He takes after his daddy.

A few weekends ago we took Eli out for his first stroller ride. It was an unusually warm day for November, it was in the mid 60s and sunny. He loved the stroller ride and fell right to sleep.

We wanted to measure Eli's grow from month to month. We decided to take a picture of him next to Winnie the Pooh on the rocking chair every month to see how he changes.  We started with him at 1 week old and will continue to take pictures of him monthly. It is amazing to see how he has already grown so much!
